Surface Preparation:

Dry > 50. Method BS7976 pt1-3 2002

New concrete should have an RH% of 75% or less.

The substrate should be clean, free from laitance, oil, grease or other agents, which may impair adhesion. Cleaning techniques may include acid etching, grinding, light mechanical scabbling, blasting or degreasing, depending on wall contamination.

Existing concrete walls should be sound and free from loose material. Damaged areas should be repaired with a Reepare Mortar prior to the coating application.

Mixing Instructions:

IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT THE MIXING IS CARRIED OUT IN THE RESIN CONTAINER.

Reecote EC017 A/S is a two pack system and it is very important to ensure the curing agent, compound B, should be added to the entire contents of the resin pack, component A and stirred thoroughly until uniform colour is achieved (2-3 minutes).

Packs should not be split unless accurate weighing facilities are available. Reecote EC017 A/S is supplied in pre-weighed units of the correct proportions.

Application:

Reecote EC017 A/S should be applied to Reeprime CPS900 (see separate data sheet). Apply the mixed material to the suitably prepared floor by brush or roller; ensure complete coverage of the floor area. Apply the second coat within 24 hours of the first.

Certain colours can be made to order subject to availability.
