Storage, Mixing & Application:
IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT THE MIXING IS CARRIED OUT IN THE RESIN CONTAINER.
Reeflor EL1001 is supplied in pre-weighed packs and no addition of solvents or aggregates should be carried out on site. The entire contents of the curing agent, component B, should be added to the entire contents of the resin pack, component A, and should be mixed together using a low speed electric stirrer (300-400 rmp) for a minimum of 3 minutes until a uniform mix has been achieved. Transfer to another container of the same capacity, scraping well the container sides and mix for a short period. This will eliminate possible soft spots on the applied system. Packs should not be split.
Pour the mixed material onto the pre-sealed substrate and spread to the required level by steel trowel. Roll immediately in two directions with a spiked roller.
Joining time should not exceed 35 minutes at temperatures of 18-20ºC and 45 minutes at temperatures of 12-18ºC. Disturbances to the applied materials outside these timings may create streaking and discoloration at the joining point.
All existing joints in the substrate should be followed through into the Reeflor EL1001.
Certain colours can be made to order subject to availability.
