Our Decorative Flakes are specially formulated PVA chips used to enhance the aesthetic qualities of seamless, resin-based chip/flake flooring systems. This unique product is random in shape, sized within a standardised range and custom blended to match any décor.

Our PVA Flakes are continuing to gain popularity among architects, designers and contractors because of their unique properties that deliver complete customisation to commercial, residential and industrial floors with an endless range colour styles, texture, size and blending options.
Our Decorative Flakes are also popular for automotive showrooms, retail stores and a number of other visible, high pedestrian areas.
These flakes are primarily used in very thin, decorative systems – often just 1.0mm.
Application
A clear or coloured binder is rolled on, PVA Flakes are scattered and a clear topcoat applied to create the system.
Supermarkets are big users of decorative flakes for their floors mainly because of the speed of installation; a self-levelling floor can be installed in one night. The resulting system is highly decorative, durable and seamless. It is intended for fairly short life spans of three or four years where there is a desire to change the design theme or the layout of the premises.
