Flowfresh MF - (Anti-Microbial) Medium Duty Polyurethane Screed

Flowfresh MF is a 4 - 6 mm medium duty, solvent-free, polyurethane concrete screed product. It is chemical-resistant given Polygiene, an antimicrobial additive. It offers an attractive smooth matt coloured floor finish.

Anti-Microbial Properties

Offering the strength, durability and resilience that have long been associated with polyurethane resin, Flowfresh MF combines performance with the natural cleaning power of Polygiene® to deliver a surface product that continuously promotes the concept of hygienic, decontaminated and clean floors.

Flowfresh MF is ideal for dry, packing areas and processing zones subject to light-medium foot and wheeled traffic. These trowel applied systems deliver a seamless joint-free finish.Owing to the inclusion of the Polygiene agent - a silver-ion based antimicrobial treatment placed within the resinous flooring material - Flowfresh MF floor coating system is able to eliminate and destroy up to 99.9% of all bacteria, dirt and nasties landing on the surface.

Colours

Ocre, Cream, Mustard, Red, Dark Green, Gentian Blue, Mid Grey and Dark Grey.

Flowfresh MF is not colour fast and may change colour over time (exhibits a yellowing effect). Colour change depends on the UV light and heat levels present and hence the rate of change cannot be predicted. This is more noticeable in light colours and blues but does not compromise the product’s flexibility or chemical resistance characteristics. We have endeavoured to adopt colours within our standard range which minimise this change.
Intensively coloured products (e.g. hair colorants, medical disinfectants etc.) and plasticizer migration (e.g. from rubber tyres) can lead to irreversible discoloration in the surface. Please contact our Technical Services Department for further advice.

Pack Size

17kg for standard colours, 17.5kg for Cream and Mid Grey.

System Build-Up

Primer: Flowprime @ 0.25 kg/m² OR, where a dpm is required, Hydraseal DPM @ 0.5 kg/m² OR, where high heat resistance is critical, Flowfresh Primer @ 0.25 kg/m². 

Topping: Flowfresh MF (density 1.9 kg/l) @ 7.6 kg/m² for 4 mm @ 11.4 kg/m² for 6 mm

Note: Flowfresh MF must always be applied onto a primed surface.

Flowprime is suitable for general use, but Flowfresh Primer should be used if the area is exposed to heat (above 50°C) or hot liquids (above 60°C).

Flowfresh MF is a self-sealing finish.
